This type involves pure saffron stigmas without broken particles with highest quality.

Sargol saffron grade 2:

In this type associate with pure stigmas also there is part of saffron broken stigmas

 Sargol saffron: poushal

This type of saffron include red color stigmas along with some cream(3-5mm). this type produce at the beginning of the harvest season. Considering that there is part of raw saffron along with saffron stigmas. another name of this group is Manchast.

On average from 101 kg of saffron crocus achieve 1 kg straw.

 poushal is classified in three groups: 

Straw grade 1(Negin)

This type is the best and cream rate attached to stigmas are very little.

poushal grade 2 

Saffron stigmas along with part of cream and its quality is lower than Negin.

poushal grade 3:

Amount of fresh saffron in this group is more and part of stigmas are broken.

 

4- category daughter screwed saffron:

This kind of saffron contain stigmas associate with cream saffron. The red part of saffron (stigma) put together associate with categories wrapped in form of cluster contributing yarn.

5- cream saffron

Cream saffron are long threads that usually separated from flower in time of harvest or obtained during the production of Sargol saffron.

Cream saffron are classified in two groups:

Grade 1 raw;

Long thread cream usually has been collected at the beginning of the harvest season and have white and entire appearance.

cream saffron grade 2:

cream shorter strings (thread) that usually was in form of mix and have pale yellow and white color and have lower quality compare to cream grade 1.
